Local Girl

We've been in Dover for four years now. While watching the recent Olympics. I recalled that the last time I watched the Summer Olympics, I was also working at the same ER in Dover. Anyway while reading this Lifehacker blog post, I thought back to when Megan and I first moved here and how we didn't know anyone in the area. It wasn't a complete shock to me since my parents were only 35 minutes away and that driving 35 minutes in the other direction led to the beaches I went to as a child.

Anyway, the move was harder on Megan, especially when summers would end and she was faced with three non-beach seasons and no close friends nearby. However, she did a good job adjusting and, as it turned out, she did a lot of things referenced in that blog post. Among them, she joined a local organization and subscribed to local papers. As a symbol of her integration into the community, we found a picture of her in one of those local papers, participating with her local organization, of course.
So they spelled her last name wrong. This is central Delaware after all and they don't see too many of us Ngyen's.
