Salivating at the Aquarium (and I don't mean the baby)

Today, we took Paige on her first visit to an aquarium. We went to the one in Camden, New Jersey, and met up with her Aunt Mary and her cousins Alexander and Kaitlyn. Considering her age, she slept half the time, but there were moments she was quite stimulated by what she saw. Her cousins definitely had fun. Overall, it was nice air-conditioned way to spend a summer afternoon with family. I was quite impressed with this aquarium. It wasn't as big as the one in Baltimore, but more modern, and the layout made it fun to walk through.

As we walked by an eel exhibit, Megan realized she'd been not eating certain kinds of fish ever since she was pregnant (because of the risk of mercury exposure.) She missed fish. So you could imagine what we ate when we decided to go out for dinner.

Three Out of Four Ain't Bad

I received four phone calls yesterday. My mom, Carl and the Wangsters wished me a happy birthday (Thanks guys! It's nice to feel loved.) The fourth call came from the Kent General Hospital ER, asking me to come in to work extra hours because they were overwhelmed with patients. I couldn't because I was actually working a 12 hour shift in Milford. I didn't mind working on my birthday, especially since I don't work for the next three days. Plus, it was only a 32nd birthday. Despite, not being a major milestone, Megan still ended up making a big day out of it. She baked a cake and purchased extremely comfortable sandals as a gift. Despite three pairs of sandals later, I go on and on about how my old Tevo's were the most comfortable pair I had, so she got me Tevo sandals. Quite nice!

So, why the delay in blog entries? Well, summer's been pretty monotonous, but in a good way. If I'm not working, I'm either playing with my baby, downloading music, or lying on the beach. Overall, it's a good gig. I'm listening to the perfect summer soundtrack: Alright, Still by Lily Allen. Check this song out.

Another Beach Trip

Are you tired of hearing about how often we go to the beach? Well, what if I told you we saw a man running while tied to a brick? Speaking of which, has anyone seen this movie? I heard it's pretty good.

What We Did For 4th of July Weekend (At The Beach)

Actually, the weekend started Wednesday June 28th, and then I had to return to Dover on July 3rd and 4th to work the day shift, but I did return the afternoon of July 4th. However, it rained that evening and we watched the fireworks from the condo. The weather was beautiful otherwise. Anyway, this is what we did:
We hung out at the Nguyen Ocean City condo.
We laid out on the beach.
We ate at Seacrets.
We walked along the boardwalk. We also ate at a buffet where 1/2 the meal became strawberries and chocolate (I thought people gained weight during the winter, not the summer, holidays.)

Here's a 24 photo slideshow or the whole set.
